Hello!

The big news of the last month is of course, the new Mr. & Mrs. Maroun!  The wedding was amazing, reception was a whole lot of love and fun.  I added TWO pages of pictures.  The first has every picture from the night before to the wedding, professional and non-professional.  The second page is a special photos I made with words and other effects.  Please do check them out, they are beautiful.  Congrats again to Anthony and Kathy!

Check out the News page for more information about the upcoming events of our lives and other nonsense information as well :-)

Love,

 Allison

The wedding was amazing, Florida was beautiful.  It happened to be the coldest week of the year when we were there, around 50 degrees most of the time, but for us was very nice!  The week we visited was right after Christmas and I can tell you it was very strange for me to see sprinklers running and Christmas lights glowing at the same time.

The wedding weekend started on Thursday with the Bachelor and Bachelorette parties.  The boys took an oath of silence so we can only assume they had a good time, while us girls can definitely say we enjoyed our night.  Friday was the Rehearsal and dinner, it was a great time, the families joining and celebrating Anthony and Kathy.  Great food was prepared by Anthony's mom and Aunt Rose and Kathy's mom as well.  Kathy made an adorable cake you can see pictures of as well.

Saturday started out good and continued that way as well.  I went to Kathy's house where the girls were getting ready.  Seeing Kathy for the first time took my breath away, as I'm sure it did to all who saw her.  She looked absolutely beautiful as did all of her girls.  The ceremony was meaningful, and went off without a hitch.  Pictures after the ceremony lasted about an hour while guests enjoyed passed hor d'ouerves and cocktails.  As soon as the bridal party and bride and groom were introduced into the reception (which was beautifully decorated and dimly lit) the first dance began.  After the first dance was the Father/Daughter and Mother/Son which I can guarantee had more than just me tearing up in the audience.  You could definitely feel the love in the air.  The first course of dinner was served and Vinny did his honorary Best Man speech.  Now I knew this would touch me, because I know Vinny and I know how much he loves his brother, but I had no idea how touching it really would be.  The entire room was clearly moved.  It was truly a highlight in the evening.  A delicious dinner was served and led to the rest of the evenings festivities including the bouquet toss (which lil Andrea caught!), garter toss and cake cutting.  Dancing was enjoyed by all for the remainder of the evening.  All in all the weekend and wedding were fabulous.

On to other news, Vinny and I are moving (yes, again) to a home much closer to our work.  When we selected our current house we really had no idea how consuming the drive would be.  Our landlords have decided to raise our rent when our lease is up so we took that opportunity to search for something else.  It is a much smaller apartment but only 3 miles from work instead of 21 miles.  It is a brand new, smaller complex and they take big dogs.  I don't look forward to moving but I sure do look forward to living there!  I will have pictures and all that soon of course :-)

Our wedding is coming upon as quickly, three and a half months to go.  All of the details are getting worked out and things are moving right along.  Let me know if you have any questions or need any information, don't forget about our wedding website as well, www.vamh.net/wedding.htm

Until Next time...and I hope everyone enjoys their Valentine's Day!!
