Up bright and early after sleeping for ~24 hours :)
Apparently we werent the only ones going to Stockholm!
This was about 5am!
Some pretty house on the water on the way to Stockholm
Stockholm port!
Weird treehouse thing on the water
"old town"
We took public transportation on our own, Slussen was the main stop, it was about a mile from the ship.
Beautiful tree and lilac bush in someone's yard on our walk to Milles Garden.
Pretty yellow house
Milles Garden - the former home of artist Carl Milles, overlooking Stockholm.
The sculptures ranged from quirky to breathtaking. While it is a popular tourist spot, most of the ship's tours dont go there.
It felt like we had the place to ourselves!
Aquatic bull-riding

The most popular sculpture in the garden, I loved it!

Loved this little chubby guy, so cute!

After Milles Garden we walked...and walked...and then sat here.
and then we walked some more, and some more, little bit more....ok a lot more.
And we FINALLY made it to the Stockholm Absolut Ice Bar.
Totally cheesey, total rip-off, but fun. And cold. 23 degrees.
The entire interior – including the glasses – is made from 100% pure, clear ice from the Torne River in Swedish Lapland.
Guess which one is mine? ;)
Nice jackets huh?
