There is one of the main symbols of Helsinki-fountain Havis Amanda (Suihkukavio). Amanda personifies the city of Helsinki rising from the sea.

Kauppatori square means "market square". It is located closely to the sea. The square was formed on this place in the beginning of the XIX century.

Completed in 1868 in the Katajanokka district of Helsinki, the Uspensky Cathedral is the largest orthodox church in Western Europe.
